Update: There was no awkward pat-down when going through security. I went in and out like a champ. My flight isn’t for over an hour. Perhaps I could start reading a book. I haven’t been able to read a book for fun in a long time.
In a little over four hours I will be going through the security checkpoint at the airport. Fingers crossed that I don’t have to experience an unfortunate pat-down from a member of staff. Being the Fargo airport, I imagine it will be a smooth transaction. It’s the way back that I worry about.
I’m going to spend a few days with one of my best friends (Dana), and a few days with family. It’s been eight years since I’ve been to Seattle, and I am beyond excited to go back. I don’t plan on being a tourist this time around, but more so just enjoying time with the people I’m visiting. Apart from that, I’m going to a Harry Potter exhibition. I’ve already seen it in Chicago, but Dana hasn’t, and I want to see it again (naturally).
Speaking of Harry Potter, I will be writing a lengthy review on the new film. It will probably wait until I get home, but we’ll see.
Have a great Thanksgiving, everyone!
