Happy Christmas, all!
My stocking this morning consisted of a paper bag with gifts from Norway. Toblerone, Melkesjokolade, an Oslo postcard, and a troll statue were present. The American gifts: Starbucks mug, Starbucks gift card, Starbucks VIA pouch, Avon Empowerment bracelet, and various candy. I think I love the stocking aspect more than the actual gift part of Christmas…mainly because I have no idea what’s going to arrive on that end. Santa is crafty, after all.
Santa also made a delicious brunch for us. Egg bake, cinnamon rolls, fruit (with dip) and mimosa’s are indeed the best way to start out Christmas.
I’m going to be completely honest. I’ve been playing with LEGOs. My sister bought me this little Harry Potter LEGO set. It’s called “Dobby is Free” and features Harry, Dobby and Lucius Malfoy. I pretty much feel like a kid again, especially since the box reads “Ages 6-12.”
Now that my nerd moment is over…
I wanted to apologize yet again for not being around on this blog. School and work were keeping me busy, and it seemed that I didn’t make much time for blogging after my trip to Seattle over Thanksgiving. I’m hoping for that to change, because I have a lot of fun writing on here and talking with everyone who comments. But I wanted to say a big “Thank you” to everyone who has kept reading this blog and for stopping by. I really appreciate it.
The lack of writing is justified, I promise. I ended up getting a 3.88 for the fall semester at college. I don’t think I’ve ever done that well before in my life (including the younger years), so for me it was a huge accomplishment. I am now preparing for the next semester, which will consist of 14 credits. It will be intense with a Capstone course in there, and throw in working full-time at my job. But I’m ready for it!
I’m planning on writing a “2010 Recap” post before the year ends. I’ll cover my trips to England, Canada and Seattle on there. I’m also going to be putting together a Travel section on my blog, so look for that next year. My final hope is to get my own domain name for my blog so that I can drop the WordPress bit on the address. Fingers crossed that those things get taken care of sooner than later.
I’m going to stop for now so I can go back to spending time with my family. I wish you all a very Happy Christmas (or happy day for those who don’t celebrate this holiday). I will be back with more sooner than later.
What did you do for Christmas, or what are you doing?
