Hello to my DAD as well. I learned something interesting about my dad yesterday. He has in fact read my blog. It only happened once, though. It came about because when I post to Facebook, it shows the first so many words as a preview on the main feed. He noticed the words “my parents” and wanted to see what I wrote about him. Too bad for him all it said was that my parents are both 50. Sucker! I love you, Barney. Deal with it.
Anyways…I hope the mid-week is treating everyone kindly. Personally, I waited at work anxiously to be done with it. Not because I don’t like my job, because I love my job. Not because I was bored, because I had stuff to do. No, I wanted to leave so that I could go home and obsessively find out everything I could about Kingston University in London. Why, you may ask?
Yeah, I’m on that kick…again. My dearest friend Brian sent me the link last night and informed me that I could get my MA in Publishing there. Also, I could get the degree in Creative Writing if I decide to go that route instead. Also, Brian can get his Corporate Comm degree. If you’re wondering what that means, I won’t be able to explain. All I know is that it sounds awesome and he’d be excellent at it, because he is naturally excellent.
If you are familiar with the concept of “Brian and Jenna have an awesome idea,” you will already assume that the above excitement I wrote about will come to be merely a few days of excitement. You will then assume that Brian and I will be over this by the end of the month, perhaps the end of the summer, and we will move on to another great idea. And even though you may be right, I don’t want to give up on this idea, key word being want.
I find this a realistic idea on the basis that London was one of the three places I said I wanted to live, so I’m not going out of order in anything I want in life. I’m not 100% on going to Grad school, but I feel that it will help me expand on what I’m doing now in my Undergrad. Plus, in the literary industry, Grad school is highly encouraged. It’s a tough business to get into, so I think getting on that wagon would be a wise decision. I just need to convince myself to actually do it.
Day 15 – Your Favorite Tumblrs.
This one is going to be easy. I don’t really use Tumblr. I made an account once, but I haven’t done anything with it. I don’t even remember what it’s called.
There are really only one Tumblr that I have saved and follow, and that’s because she’s my friend (or I pretend she is, ha). Katie’s Tumblr site, Painting the canvas blank, is full of everything I love…mainly Harry Potter, of course, but other things too. Since I’m not really familiar with Tumblr, I’m not going to say anything else on the subject. Go check out Katie’s page, though. It’s always a good time.
What Tumblr sites do you visit?
Talk me into or out of going to Grad school in 100 words or less…GO!
