Life is what you make of it. In my life, I choose to wake up every day with tomorrow behind me and the future ahead of me. Being a twenty-four year old college student who also works full-time, there are moments when life can get a little stressful. But I find comfort in the things that matter most to me: family, friends, a good read, exploring a different world in a writing piece, and the next great adventure.
The realization of me wanting to be a writer came out when I found myself doing nothing but reading and writing. My mind has been consumed by literature since I was a child, but moving into the realm of college life is what brought me to writing. I’ve always enjoyed writing, but it wasn’t until I started writing essays, poetry and stories that I convinced myself of being able to do more with these hobbies. So you’re reading it here: I want to be a writer.
Something out there inspires me every day to wake up and embrace my fate. I may not become a best selling author and I may not do anything but write for my own personal enjoyment, but in the world that is life, I am a writer.
